It’s very easy to resolve your sync issue with Outlook 365 when searching for emails. All you have to do is change your Account Name and Sync settings to show All emails, not just the last few months or a year.
- Open Outlook 365
- Click File
- Select Account Settings
- Select Account Name and Sync Settings
- In the Exchange Account Settings popup, drag the horizontal bar all the way to the right until it says All
- Press Next to save changes
- Press Done to close the window
